Becoming a mom 2 years ago completely changed my life in numerous ways. There was so many things I didn't know combined with being far away from family makes it more difficult. I decided to open a children's book shop because I realized how important it is to have a community around you and your kids. With my daughters love for books, it wasn't a question that we wanted her to grow up surrounded with books. It's been such a fun start up business, my goal is to partner up with some non-profits to promote literacy because just by having books in your house, kids get tempted to read more and enjoy reading. At the moment we have been focusing on providing some small events-workshops for littles and their caregivers. I've received beautiful feedback of the impact of my shop at a small scale and it's definitely giving me an urgency to expand and to do more for the community. Sometimes reading a children's book just touches your heart in the most unexpected way.
